NP241 with loose shaft

I have a 2005 Jeep Rubicon 4.0L 4W

Question:  I have the np-241. The output front bearing from the factory are sloppy, causing some vibration. Does anyone make replacement bearings that are tight?? I bought a brand new 241 from factory and front output yoke is not tight.

Answer:  Unfortunately there is not an update for this. It is a ball bearing so there will always be a slight bit if play.  You can see the other parts that we can supply for the Jeep NP241 on our site.

Input Shaft early Chevy NP241

Question:  I am looking for an input shaft to convert an np241cearly Chevy 241 to a dodge 29 spline input. All the 29 spline shafts I can find are specified for the 94+ t-cases. Do you have anything that will work with a 1989 model year Chevy t-case?

Answer:   We can supply an input shaft that will work in the early planetary but you will need to change the input bearing also… priced below

I have a Chevy pickup 4WD with NP241np241c

Question:   I’m looking for some seals for my NP241C transfer case, Assembly Number: 1562 4672, Serial Number: 3 11 89 2.  I need parts from this picture: http://www.drivetrain.com/images/stories/product_imgs_large/np241_lg.jpg  1, 2, 13, 37, 42, 49, 50, 56 and 72. Are you able to supply them?

NP241 Transfer Case Slipping Problem

I have a Dodge 2500 2001 with the 5.9L Diesel.

Question:  I have a 241DHD transfer case np241 and the parts that I believe that need to be replaced is the syncro sleeve, syncro block(brass part), and any part the sleeve goes over and any thrust washers. What is going on is the transfer case is slipping. It does not seem to be fully engaging into 4wd. I have had it apart and replaced the fork pads and a broken snap ring, but it still slips. Do you have any suggestions what it may be? I am ready to order some parts or get it rebuilt.

Answer:  We can provide all of the parts needed to repair the shift schryo problem.
